I'm Melting....

The 100 degree weather continues. I hate the heat. It stops me from doing anything I'm not forced to do. It appears it will be hot for at least the remainder of the week, so I'm going to have to deal with it somehow.

Took mom to pick up her new glasses today and she forced me to go to the grocery store. By the time I got home, I was nearly nauseous. I keep thinking of other states that have normal weather, but the trade-off is rain, and I couldn't live in continuous rain either. So basically, I'm screwed.

I'm watching disk 4 of "The War" again - great series.

I'm thrilled because I found a self propelled lawnmower on craigslist that I'll pick up on Saturday. Every gardener I've hired has been horrible, and now I can't afford one, so it's up to me to mow the back and front 40. My neighbor has a push mower, but my grass is so think it's impossible with a push mower. Hopefully it will be cooler on Saturday so I can actually mow. I think I see the neighbors pointing from the windows wondering when I will actually mow. It's been three weeks since the last guy came and never showed up again. It's a little overgrown.

Now the question to be answered: how to get a lawnmower in a passenger car...
