I Need Some Advice from UK People

My best friends mother lives in Mold in the UK. Three weeks ago she was diagnosed with cancer. Since then they have been waiting for an appointment to find out treatment options - waiting, waiting, waiting.

I need advice from people who know the UK health system where we can go or who we can contact. She needs to be seen and treatment to start, and the system is making her wait...unacceptable to me, and I want to do something about it.

So, anyone in the UK that can tell me where to start so we can get her treatment started, please contact me. I'd really appreciate it.
