The Somewhat Big Reveal

Mind you, I still have touch ups and places to paint (like behind the stove, but here’s the before:

kitchen 006

And here’s the after:

kitchen after 1

kitchen after 4

kitchen after 3

What do you think?

For those who asked…..

The curtains were made from a shower curtain I got at Target

The color is New Avocado from Lowe’s Valspar paint.

Oh, and my hand is much better, thank you!

Wow! I love it! The counter tops, curtains, wall color....everything looks really great Barbara. I'd say it was worth every hole in your hand. How is the hand today, by the way?

Where did you find the fabric and what is the name of the paint color?

I think it looks absolutely fabulous! I really like the way the green makes the cabinets and counter pop! I'm sure you're loving being in there, there's nothing like a bright coat of paint to inspire you in a room!

It's gorgeous. Having grown up in the 70's with "avocado green" and "harvest gold" everywhere in our house, I'd have never picked that color. But after seeing it on your walls, I'd sure reconsider. I love it. Good job!

I love it!!! You did an amazing job. The color is similar to the color of my bedroom. And the drapes - too cute! Very clever to sew them from a shower curtain - they come in so many cute patterns. Thanks for sharing your pics :)
