Finally, success!!
It has been a horrific week.
I've had more agencies screw me than you can imagine. I went on one interview and the AGENCY pulled me out of the running because they didn't think I'd be happy at $15 an hour, despite my protests to the contrary.
So today I went on another interview for a job at the UC Davis campus working for the "seed certification unit" - they pay $17 an hour. Before I even got home they offered me the job. And I can wear jeans!!
It's an open ended temp job that could go permanent, but damn, it's work.
