Shirley, Meet Laverne

laverne

So THIS is how it all started.

Man-tailored and monogrammed, this shirt made from Springmaid sheets is available to you for only $2.00 ($14.67 today) and 2 Dial soap wrappers.

Sure, Dial saves you $2 on the shirt, but how much was the soap, huh?

I wonder if they would put any initials like ONO, FAT, Wii or HAG, or if you had to put your “real” initials.  Regardless, once you’ve used two bars of Dial soap, your skin peels off anyway.

Just be like Laverne and only use one letter.  Then maybe your husband won’t notice your lizard skin.

Love it! What if the person's initials were WTF or FUK? Talk about embarrassment!

I just wanted to congratulate you and let you know that I chose your blog for The Versatile Blogger award that was recently given to me. You're supposed to pass it along to ten other blogs and I chose If I Didn't Have A Sense of Humor as one of them. So congrats and have a great evening!

I'm seriously thinking about getting a few monogrammed shirts, maybe this company is still in business :)

I really love this style of shirt (could probably do without the monogram though) but I've got a feeling it wouldn't look quite the same on me.
As a larger gal, I'm not sure I'd want to advertise the fact that my shirt was made out of a bedsheet.....
lol Christine, you are always a riot!

Congrats Barbara on the award!

I have one award lol... I think I'll make up a whole bunch and pass them around like candy. Or like monogrammed shirts tee hee...

I want one of these shirts! Can it say "BCH"? :)
Dial soap was the soap of gram's choice for washing out mouths when mom or her brothers said bad words! To this day, mom will never buy Dial!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
