CBS' WKBT News Anchor Responds to Viewer Email Calling Her Fat



Seriously....when did how you look matter more than being a good and caring person?

This man criticizes her weight and calls her a "bad role model", yet isn't he worse?  A person isn't measured by how they look, but of the content of their soul.

And the complainer is a lawyer.  How shocking.

I appreciate her words and that her husband is more outraged than she is!!

Comments like the one he made are just dripping with smugness. I don't think that people who say those things have any idea how petty and shallow it makes them seem.

When I look at her, I see an intelligent woman with a successful career who apparently manages to be a very good mother and wife too. She has friends and family who lover her and colleagues who respect her. I find that a very suitable role model for young girls.

She is saying what so many people know to be true. The rash of bullyism in schools can be traced to what kids are learning and much of that is amped by the internet. Good for her!

You know what they say about bullies, there's usually something wrong with them, so they project on others. In his case, it's stupidity and shallowness. I love this woman's commentaries so much I posted the video on my Facebook. Sooo much respect for her!

I love how she put all of that. It's ridiculous that we as adults are always crowing about how kids shouldn't be bullies. Hello! They got it SOMEWHERE!
