I’m Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

jello smell

How does YOUR gelatin smell?  Huh?  How does it?

When you add boiling water, does it smell like lovely fruit or sulfuric acid? Royal Gelatin smells like newborn baby heads, powder puffs and puppies!

Other gelatins (you know, like that one spelled J-E-L-L-O) are made with inferior products like cat guts, beef hooves and ground up rodents.  That’s why when you pour boiling water over it, it smells like something dead in your walls.

If you want lavender and lollipops, buy Royal Gelatin!  Then the smell will only come when you add tuna to it!!

personal note:  thanks for all the well wishes.  I need a trip to Italy or something…I’m losing steam, but I’m better physically!

Ha ha ha that stuff is all made from rendered horses hoofs lol...

Vacation? What's that? Jeez, if you go, take photos so I am reminded there is more to this world than work and the walls of my house lollll
Our human is so old that they say they remember when gelatin was just plain, it did smell and it needed lots of flavoring to make it fit for humans. But it was made of cow hooves, and they are good to chew on. I will take my cow hoof without the silly fruit flavoring, I can chew on one of those all day long.

We salute you gelatin, the housewife's greatest artistic medium, great for molding, salading, nourishing and now aroma therapy! Thanks for the laugh today. Good to see you feel better (just in time for my blog about vintage home remedies :) http://dearhelenhartman.blogspot.com/ )
